the “everyday” is aesthetic

Lucia Moon is a Sydney-based poet and photographer. Her work is openly playful. Approaching her subjects with humour and sharp-wit, she hopes to invoke laughter where darkness dwells beneath. She is interested in the hidden and the weird, art, sexuality and suburbia. Lucia’s work has been published in the Whattaroll film photography mag, Desire Lines, Carillon and ARNA. She has exhibited at Rose St Gallery and Scratch Art Space, and is currently completing a thesis on gothic fiction at the University of Sydney.
